哥大·中国展望
对话全球新格局
为了更好地服务哥大在校学生以及大纽约地区的华人华侨，联谊会于 2010 年创办
了“ 哥伦比亚大学中国展望论坛” 。学联以世界著名高等学府哥伦比亚大学以及大都会纽
约为依托，创建了一个集中而有效的平台，聚焦于中国当前的发展状况，着眼于中国未来
的发展前景，探索中国未来的发展道路。论坛现已发展成为美东地区规模最大，最具影响
力的中国问题论坛之一。美国前首席助理国务卿 Thomas Fingar、匈牙利前国家首相
Gordon Bajnai、 中国地产品牌万科集团董事长王石、 中国著名经济学家许小年等各界嘉宾
都曾出席过往届论坛。每年论坛都吸引了近千名来自美国知名高校的莘莘学子以及社会各
界人士参加，并受到中国日报、光明网、中国青年报、新华社、新浪、凤凰网等多家媒体
的密切关注。
在传承与发展往届论坛精髓的基础上，本届论坛也将继续从多个角度探讨中国在当
今世界时局下所选择的发展道路, 并思考其中的意义与可能面临的挑战。在过去的数年内，
中国与世界各国的沟通不断加强， “走出去，走进来” 已经不再是一个愿景，而是一条已
经在被实践的道路。中国从此之中收益颇多，但是不可否认的是中国也受到了许多挫折。
在这样的情况下，深层次的全球对话显得迫切重要。只有通过对话，中国的声音才会被听
到，被理解；通过对话，世界才能与中国求同存异, 寻求共赢。 这次我们将联手哥伦比亚
大学全球中心|北京、哥伦比亚大学商学院、哥伦比亚大学教育学院一起为大家呈现这场
对话。

创赛概要
哥伦比亚大学中美创业大赛致力于为北美创业团队提供一个寻找团队伙伴和导师的平台，以及获取投资和推广的机会。 由哥伦比亚大学联合会与本次论坛发起的一项推动“ 大众创业、万众创新” 的帮助校友实质性创业活动。本次大赛将重点围绕互联网、生物医药、新材料、环保新能源、新一代信息技术等领域。欢迎有意在美国创业或归国创业的海外高层次人才踊跃申报创业大赛。创业展览在大赛同时进行。 拟邀请 30 家北美地区优秀创业团队，致力于给创业团队交流展示的机会。 并且， 创业企业还将在大会现场进行招聘
经过一个月的精心准备，在创业导师的帮助下，团队的想法将会得到进一步的完善以及提高。商业计划书以及路演方面也得到了创业导师们的指导以及训练，为最终的决赛做好了充足的准备。最终决赛将在下午进行10支团队将以最佳状态进行路演，最终经过所有评委的投票决定最终的结果。同时，进入决赛和提交BP的团队将获邀在当天下午参加创业展览。创业企业还将在大会现场进行招聘。
Schwarzman Scholarship Information Session
For those who are ready to make their mark on the world, come join the Schwarzman Scholarship Information Session: Designing Future Leadership, at Columbia University and get a chance to meet Robert Garris, Global Director of Admissions for one of the world’s most prestigious scholarship programs. This info session is designated for attendees of the China Prospects Conference who are interested in the Schwarzman Scholarship. General Columbia and Barnard students are also welcome to attend the info session.
Schwarzman Scholars is an international scholarship program founded by Stephen A. Schwarzman, co-founder and chairman of the Blackstone Group and Chair of President Donald Trump's Strategic and Policy Forum.
Whether in politics, business or science, the success of future leaders around the world will depend upon an understanding of China’s role in global trends. The Schwarzman Scholars is designed to prepare the next generation of global leaders. Launched in 2016, the program gives the world’s best and brightest students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and professional networks through a one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University (THU) in Beijing – one of China’s most prestigious universities. Students pursue a Masters in Global Affairs, with concentrations in one of the disciplines: Public Policy, Economics and Business, and International Studies. Immersed in an international community of thinkers, innovators and senior leaders in business, politics and society, students learn from one another and pursue their academic disciplines while building their leadership capacities.
